Speaking of lending a hand to help a fellow Calgarian, the Salvation Army is ready and waiting to spring back into action with their Christmas Kettle Campaign.

This year's Kettle Kick-Off Luncheon will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 18 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Westin Hotel downtown.

Mr. Thomas Caldwell, Chairman of Caldwell Financial Ltd. will be speaking on The Value and Impact of Social Investing, and given the oh-so-stable times we live in and the increasing need to help out our neighbours, it can't hurt to have a listen.
