BlogsJul 07, 2009Supersized burger-spotting
In the name of all things Alberta Beef this week, Canada’s largest burger has been brought to life.
Tommy Burger’s latest burger design weighs in at a whopping 141.73 lbs. ![]() It's more than three feet high, boasting three patties weighing 45 lbs each, with a custom bun, more than a lb of pickles, 10 lbs of tomatoes, two lbs of onion, five lbs of lettuce, five lbs of cheese and two lbs of sauce. Taking seven-and-a-half hours to cook, it was the main attraction at Tommy Burger on Macleod Trail's first-ever Stampede breakfast and patio party... Comments:

Was there any point in making such a large (highly unlikely edible) burger? What a waste of food and a waste of SEVEN hours! Goes to show that that Tommy Burger location is not buisy enough if they have all that time on their hands. And all that for the stampede??? Come on. Isn't the Stampede also known for wedding ring checks so that they can cheat on their spouses?? whats Calgary turning into??? That burger is just a disgrace!!!

IF anyone eats this burger, they WILL need to see their doctor to see how high their cholesterol went up. Thank heavens for free healthcare in Canada. The eater of this, IF there are any, WILL need all the help to get well, IF THEY CAN, from the free doctors and free hospitals.
God forbid if they did consume this type of burger in the USA where it costs a real, true fortune to get ANY medical help over there. Anyway, my stomach really hurts just looking at this. I would probably choke, just by eating the top bun alone. Leave a comment:
